Webinar: Planning strategies for wills and trusts on high value estates

Join us on Tuesday 25 July at 2pm for part three of our webinar series covering the Residence Nil Rate Band (RNRB).

Part three of the webinar series will focus on planning strategies for wills and trusts for high value estates and we will be joined on the webinar by Victoria Lee from Bird Belderbos & Mee Solicitors.

There are many factors to consider when planning for high value estates, not just those over £2m. Fluctuations in the size of estates need to be considered, particularly where there are increases in property values. This educational webinar will explore actions that can be taken during the lifetime of different clients that may be impacted, covering first death and the impact on the surviving spouse / civil partner.

Through these case studies TIME and Bird Belderbos & Mee will:

  • Explain the effects on RNRB and the transferable RNRB where estates exceed £2m
  • Discuss potential action to be taken before and after 1st death of married couple / civil partnership
  • Explore planning opportunities using trusts and gifting
  • Demonstrate practical strategies to consider when writing or amending wills

Workshops – The search for secure income

TIME’s latest series of workshops will explore the client need for secure income in uncertain times and we would be delighted if you could join us.

In an uncertain world, many advisers are seeking less volatile investments with more predictable, inflation protected income streams. We believe that long income property should form a core part of any investor’s portfolio, but in particular those clients in the decumulation stage needing steady, long-term income streams from their investments.

This event is designed for

  • Advisers searching for stable income streams for clients
  • Advisers looking for a defensive holding in their clients’ portfolios
  • Advisers seeking an asset class that can help de-risk portfolios
  • Advisers running model portfolios or fund research for their clients
  • Fund researchers seeking to add diversification to portfolios
