Matthew joined Alpha Property Lending in 2016. Since that time he has written transactions supporting projects worth in excess of £200m GDV, specifically focusing on SME developers and housebuilders across England and Scotland. Matthew’s lending experience with Alpha is varied, ranging from refinancing a completed block of high-end apartments in central London to supporting Permitted Development Rights conversions in the Midlands, and from luxury residential developments in the South West to Care Home Portfolios spread across multiple locations nationwide.

Before joining Alpha, Matthew had responsibility for the Property division of Private Client Lending at BLME and prior to that had roles in Town Planning and the public sector.
